Our shelter is open to the public

Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.

The shelter will also be closed

from 12pm and 1:30pm each weekday.

We are closed to the public on all major state holidays.

A calendar of Alabama state holidays can be found here.  Keep in mind that floating holidays, e.g. Independence Day, that fall on a Saturday will be observed on the Friday before.  If it falls on a Sunday, then the holiday will be observed the following Monday.  The shelter will be closed on these occasions.
