About Our Shelter
Animal shelters’ biggest struggle comes from the lack of reliable volunteers. Our mission is to recruit,
train and schedule volunteers to provide daily pet care implemented with rescue/foster care/vetting/meds program. SAViA has already established a volunteer program at two local animal shelters.
Colbert County Animal Control Shelter and the Florence Lauderdale Animal Control Shelter
Our long-term goal is to build a Community Pet Center to provide firstly boarding kennels serving as overflow for local animal shelters, sick bay, adoption center and sanctuary for hard to adopt/old pets. And secondly, to merge a low-cost animal clinic, grooming shop, pet-friendly park, etc.
