LOST! Deeohgee went missing in the Hawkpride Homestead area in Tuscumbia. Deeohgee is a block head Black Lab, 2-5 years old, male and is neutered. This pet was wearing a Yellow/Green collar with 2 Rabbies tags, has a scar on his right leg and is over weight. Deeohgee is very friendly towards other animals and toward people. On November 26, 2010, “Rosco” became lost from his family.  Rosco was last on County Rd 8 in Florence.  Rosco is approximately 1-2 years old and is an American Bulldog, Pit bull mix.  He is basically white with brown spots with strips through them.  He also has small black spots and both of his eyes are half blue and brown.  Rosco is friendly toward other animals and towards people.  He thinks he is a lap dog and does not like to be on a leash.  He was last seen wearing a chain collar with rabies tags.  If you have seen Rosco or have found Rosco, please call David (256-766-5042) right away!

Precious was spotted again today entering a pasture adjacent to the Gas Dept. building on Rickwood Road. She apparently keeps on the move but frequents that vicinity. She was spotted on Helton beside Simpson’s Wrecker Service and on Chisholm Road near the intersection of Rickwood and Chisholm. We have put food out at locations she has been seen in hopes she will find it on her rounds. It is so frustrating knowing she is still alive but not being able to bring her in. If anyone is in the area between Helton and Chisholm, please keep an eye out for her and give me a call if you see her. My cell number is 710-7716. Thank you. Marsha

UPDATE: A volunteer, Sherri C., saw Previous last Friday morning (February 26) in the vicinity of a wooded area at Rickwood and Helton by the gas station and the funeral home. Precious is using the storm drain to cross the street. UPDATE: 23 MAR 2010- Precious is still on the loose. She is very shy about being touched so hasn’t been able to be caught. She still appears to be healthy.

LOST! Pet’s name is DREAD. Went missing on Lambs Ferry Road in Rogersville, Alabama. Dread is 1-2 years old, male and not sterilized. Dread is Blue in color though this looks like dark Grey. He has very short (velvet) fur. The fur on his back grows the opposite direction creating a ridge or stripe look down his back. Dread was wearing a choke collar with a piece of a blue leash in which he had chewed in half. Dread also has microchip identification. He is friendly towards people and other animals. LOST! Lola is a female Basset Hound about 5+ years old. She is sterilized. Lola is tri-colored with one Blue eye and one Brown eye. She was wearing a pink color collar with rhinestone bones on it and a Purple slide on name tag with her name, address and phone number. Lola is friendly towards other animals and is friendly towards people. She loves her belly rubbed, likes to ride in the car and is very well-behaved. Lola has a slight ear infection and has been on antibiotics. Lola’s family suspects that she was taken and dumped by a neighbor along with another neighbor’s pet named Duke. LOST! My grand-doggie is missing! On Saturday evening, Sarah returned home and Shelby was nowhere to be seen.  Shelby had some-how gotten out of the backyard fence (not sure how).  She has never been away from home.  She is a house dog and was only in the back yard for a brief time.  She went missing around the Florence Middle School Coffee High), 7 points, UNA area.  Shelby is an 8-year-old, blue healer.  She is wearing an orange collar, she has a docketed tail, and one of her ears bends down slightly due to an old injury.  She is friendly, but sometimes shy if she doesn’t know you.  We’ve checked the local animal shelter (thanks to some wonderful workers on their off-days). She is very much a part of our family.  Any information is greatly appreciated.

FOUND! The goal of this rescuer is to find this pet a loving home. This kitten was found at the Dollar Tree in Muscle Shoals, AL. This kitten has been named “Patti” after the dancer Patrick Swayze because this kitten dances like a ballerina. This kitten is between 0-3 months old, unknown gender, unknown if sterilized, has a sweet face, large eyes, tiny paws and is a Torti color-domestic short hair.Patti is friendly with other animals and shy towards strangers at first.
